\nPROJECT TO BE INITIATED IN 2019<\/strong>
\nProject Title:<\/strong> Vandenberg AFB (VAFB) Natural Resources Support
\nResponses to this Request for Statements of Interest will be used to identify potential
\ninvestigators for a project to be funded by the US Air Force, which provides professional and
\ntechnical support for its Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) in order to
\nfacilitate successful implementation of the 16 USC 670c-1 Sikes Act. Approximately
\n$1,855,881.00 (base tasks) and $118,483.00 (optional task 3.21) and $544,000 (optional task
\n3.24) is expected to be available to support this project. Additional funding may be available for
\nadditional tasks and\/or follow on work in subsequent fiscal years to the successful
\nRecipient\/Awardee.
\nBackground:<\/strong>
\nThis work requires full-time onsite support person(s) located at Vandenberg AFB (VAFB) and
\noff-site support for less than full-time projects that are seasonal in nature and require limited
\nfield work at VAFB, Edwards AFB (EAFB), and Pillar Point AFS (PPAFS). The work will
\ninvolve: natural resource management activities, field surveys, reporting, coordination, and travel
\nto and from the installations for off-site personnel, attendance at meetings, project management,
\nand GIS data management. NFE must have relevant experience and all required permits
\nnecessary to support this task at time of award.
\n
\nNote: <\/strong>Must be a non-federal partner in the CESU Unit to be qualified to be considered.
