\nPROJECT TO BE INITIATED IN 2018<\/strong>
\nProject Title:\u00a0Ft. Drum Cultural Resource Compliance<\/strong>
\nThis work requires the necessary personnel, equipment, and materials required to provide cultural resource compliance coordination and archaeological survey
\nand evaluation support, for the Fort Drum Cultural Resources Section located at the Environmental Division, Fort Drum, NY.
\nResponses to this Request for Statements of Interest will be used to identify potential investigators for a project to be funded by Fort Drum, New York which provides professional support for its Environmental Division.
\nApproximately $109,375.00 is expected to be available to support this project.
\nAdditional funding may be available for follow on work in subsequent fiscal years to the successful Recipient\/Awardee.<\/p>\n


\nBrief Description of Anticipated Work:<\/strong>
\nThis support focuses on the following objectives:
\n1) Compliance. Meet installation compliance requirements through coordination with the Cultural Resources Program Manager on Ft. Drum via the REC process,
\nthe WEPS process, and coordination to assess potential impacts to cultural resources on the installation.
\n2) Field Work. Cultural Resources survey inventory and site assessments for determination for eligibility to National Register of Historic Places,
\nanalysis of artifacts and recommendations of project affects to Historic properties.
\n3) Laboratory Analysis and Curation. Conduct recovery, processing, cataloging, analysis, and preparation of all recovered cultural materials
\nfor permanent curation using guidelines set forth in 36 CFR Parts 79 and 800.
\n4) Report Writing. Synthesize all field, contextual, and analytical information into a draft and final report detailing the results of the investigations.
\n5) Archaeological Monitoring. Monitor construction and other ground disturbing activities in archaeologically sensitive areas.
\n6) Public Outreach. Participate in outreach programming related to the Fort Drum Cultural Resources program.
