CPCESU membership<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Members of the Colorado Plateau CESU benefit from a collaborative partnership in research, education, and technical assistance. Collaboration is facilitated by a streamlined task agreement process, and a 17.5% indirect cost rate (with the exception of the indirect cost rate of the U.S. Forest Service (0%) and Natural Resources Conservation Service (10%)).<\/p>\n

Criteria for CPCESU membership<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Building CPCESU capacity<\/li>\n
  2. Applicability of knowledge and skill set to the CPCESU<\/li>\n
  3. Compatibility with CPCESU mission<\/li>\n
  4. Regional perspective and\/or involvement, or potential for regional involvement, including spatial scale<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Academic institutions will be asked to submit:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Letter of interest confirming a review of the general CESU descriptive materials and CPCESU Cooperative and Joint Venture Agreement (found on the CPCESU Documents<\/a> page), and agree to abide by all responsibilities and expectations of partner institutions<\/li>\n
    2. Written response to the elements specified in the New Partners Protocol<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Non-academic institutions will be asked to submit:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. Letter of interest confirming a review of the general CESU descriptive materials and CPCESU Cooperative and Joint Venture Agreement (found on the\u00a0CPCESU Documents<\/a>\u00a0page), and agree to abide by all responsibilities and expectations of partner institutions<\/li>\n

          • Opportunities for faculty to provide technical assistance to agencies and other groups<\/li>\n
          • Opportunities for graduate student research, participation in projects, internships, and employment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • Access to and participation in research, technical assistance, education, and social science projects<\/li>\n
            • Focus on multi-institutional approach to resource issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
