{"id":288,"date":"2018-03-06T23:12:46","date_gmt":"2018-03-06T23:12:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/comptroller\/?page_id=288"},"modified":"2026-03-11T16:42:02","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T16:42:02","slug":"travel-welcome","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/comptroller\/travel-welcome\/","title":{"rendered":"Travel"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Welcome to NAU travel<\/h1>\n<p>NAU has centralized the booking and reimbursement processing of university business travel to the Reimbursement Processing Support (RPS) unit.\u00a0 Departments and\/or employee travelers can book travel on behalf of employees, students, and community members if they have an approved <a href=\"https:\/\/servicenow.nau.edu\/hr?id=sc_cat_item&amp;sys_id=5ba506dcdb2f44105e69d2e3ca96199a&amp;sysparm_category=91e5c690db6f44105e69d2e3ca9619e3\"><strong>Travel Support<\/strong><\/a><strong> request<\/strong>, have completed <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/rpsu\/nau-travel-training\/\"><strong>NAU Travel Policy Training<\/strong><\/a>, and have an <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/contracting-purchasing-services\/purchasing-card\/\"><strong>NAU Purchasing Card (PCard)<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Travelers, Supervisors, and local fiscal oversight (LFO) designees need to understand all aspects of NAU travel policies and procedures.
