Now that you are admitted into the nursing program at Northern Arizona University (NAU), you are expected to maintain a high level of academic performance. If you encounter difficulty with your studies at any time, the faculty can help you find assistance.<\/p>\n

Graduating and becoming a licensed nurse<\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

There is no guarantee that you will graduate with a Bachelor of Science of Nursing with this letter of admission to the NAU Sanghi College of Nursing. Further, graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is not the sole criteria for obtaining a license to practice nursing in Arizona.<\/p>\n

Licensing requirements are the exclusive responsibility of the State Board of Nursing (Nursing Practice Act A.R.S. Section 32-1632, et seq.), and you must satisfy those requirements independently of your completion of any requirements for graduation from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.<\/p>\n

Your signed\u00a0admission contract (see below) must be submitted no later than 5 days after receiving the admissions email.<\/strong> This will indicate your intention to enter the program and your commitment towards becoming a nursing professional.<\/p>\n

For CBSN Summer 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Please submit your required clinical documents by Wednesday, April 1, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For TBSN and CBSN Fall 2026<\/strong>– Please submit your required clinical documents by Sunday, August 9, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

If the required items are not uploaded to Typhon by the required document deadline, your seat in the program may be forfeited.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Please be aware that there are fees required for CPR training, fingerprinting, liability insurance, a physical exam, and vaccinations, which are the student\u2019s responsibility. Allow yourself ample time to obtain all of these items prior to the initiation of the program. The fingerprint clearance usually requires 2-4 weeks for processing. If you have a current Arizona State-issued level 1 fingerprint clearance card, it will be accepted as long as it is not expired. The student health center at NAU offers many vaccinations and physical examinations. Contact Campus Health Services<\/a> at 928-523-2131<\/a> or through their online patient portal<\/a> for an appointment. Please verify they will accept your insurance.<\/p>\n
