Details will be discussed at Orientation as well, but here\u2019s a start:\n    <\/h2>\n\n\n    <ul>\n<li>It is recommended to have reliable transportation to and from campus.\n<ul>\n<li>Local transportation is available in each city but does not always stop near our clinical agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Carpool may also be an option.<\/li>\n<li>Not all clinicals are conducted around campus and will require traveling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>A laptop is required. Chromebooks do not support all applications used during class or testing.<\/li>\n<li>Classes, clinicals, and labs are conducted in person unless otherwise communicated.<\/li>\n<li>First-semester students cannot request days and times for classes or clinicals. Groups are established by the course lead. For all other semesters (2\u20134 for CBSN and TBSN), student requests are considered for clinical placement.<\/li>\n<li>During the final semester, students complete a preceptorship in which they are at a healthcare agency with a precepting RN, usually for 3 twelve-hour shifts per week.<\/li>\n<li>We consider nursing school to be a full-time job as it requires a lot of time and energy between lectures, clinicals, labs, studying, and exams.
