healthcare students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to generous gifts from our donors, the College of Health and Human Services offers a variety of scholarship opportunities to support your healthcare education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit all scholarship applications, including for those listed below, through <a href=\"https:\/\/nau.scholarshipuniverse.com\/\"><strong>Scholarship Universe<\/strong><\/a>, a centralized location. There, you&#8217;ll find a pool of over 14,000 private scholarships to apply for, in addition to all of NAU&#8217;s unique scholarships. Mullins DHA Scholarship was established in 2003 by the board of directors of Samaritan Health Services, Corvallis, OR. It was created in honor of Dr. Mullins, the President\/CEO of Samaritan Health Services, upon completion of his doctoral degree in Health Care Administration (DHA) from the Medical University of South Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship fund is housed with the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, Corvallis, OR. Dr. Mullins chairs the selection committee for the scholarship. At least one scholarship of $1000 is awarded annually from the fund.<\/p>\n<p>Eligibility:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a healthcare field<\/li>\n<li>available to individuals without regard to race, religion, national origin, gender, age, color, disability, or marital status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: special consideration will be given to applicants who are currently employed in the health care field, members or veterans of the US military, and those who are willing to practice in Oregon or Arizona (veterans must submit a copy of their DD-214 Form 4 with the application).
