A. Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University. As an affiliate of the <a href=\"https:\/\/azecon.org\/\">Arizona Council on Economic Education<\/a>, we offer comprehensive programming in <strong>financial literacy<\/strong>, <strong>economic understanding<\/strong>, and <strong>entrepreneurship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">We engage youth, educators, and community members through <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/economic-policy-institute\/events-news\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/economic-policy-institute\/events-news\/\">interactive workshops and seminars,<\/a><\/strong> promoting informed decision-making and economic success. Working in partnership with schools, organizations, and state initiatives, we tailor our programs to meet regional needs. Our goal is to provide practical, real-world applications while fostering financial empowerment.<br \/>\nOur school-based offerings include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Curriculum Support &amp; Consultations: We assist educators in integrating financial literacy and economic education into their curriculum, offering guidance on lesson planning, classroom management, and best practices.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Resource Connections: We connect educators with a variety of high-quality financial literacy and economic education resources, including materials from the <a href=\"https:\/\/azecon.org\/\">Arizona Council on Economic Education (ACEE)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ngpf.org\/\">Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalreserveeducation.org\/\">Federal Reserve Education<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/econedlink.org\/\">EconEdLink<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/econiful.org\/\">Econiful<\/a>, and other national and regional organizations that provide engaging, standards-aligned content.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Site or Classroom &#8220;Take-Overs&#8221;\/Workshops &amp; Guest Speakers: Our team can lead engaging, hands-on financial literacy and economic lessons tailored to school needs. Our support includes access to aligned content, workshops, and connections to mentors and educators who can help them succeed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Invest in Girls (IIG) \u2013 A program aimed at empowering young women by teaching fundamental investing concepts, financial independence, and career pathways in finance.<\/li>\n<li>Two-Day Boot Camp \u2013 A short, intensive program where students engage in hands-on economic simulations, budgeting exercises, and financial decision-making scenarios.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These programs ensure that young individuals gain a strong foundation in financial literacy, preparing them for future economic challenges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Community Programming &amp; Engagement<\/strong><br \/>\nWe extend financial literacy and economic education to the broader community through accessible, engaging events, ensuring that financial empowerment is available to all.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Webinars &amp; Workshops \u2013 Covering essential financial topics such as budgeting, investing, credit management, and entrepreneurship, these sessions are designed to support individuals, families, and local organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Industry Engagement &amp; Career Connections \u2013 We help students and community members access internships, mentorships, and career-building opportunities in financial and economic fields.<\/li>\n<li>Arizona Seal of Personal Finance Support \u2013 We provide resources, guidance, and coursework assistance to help individuals achieve the Arizona State Seal of Personal Finance.<\/li>\n<li>Competitions &amp; Enrichment \u2013 We connect students and community members with statewide and national financial literacy and economic competitions, such as stock market challenges, personal finance simulations, and entrepreneurship contests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our goal is to increase economic awareness and empower Arizona communities with essential financial knowledge.
