Computer suggestions for prospective students

Computer Science

Any type of laptop or desktop, either Windows or Mac.

Electrical Engineering and Construction Management

Any Windows laptop or desktop with a solid graphics card (most new PCs should work fine).

Mechanical or Civil Engineering

A Windows laptop or desktop with a dedicated CAD certified graphics card. These include AMD Fire or NVIDIA Quadro. These can be expensive and not the type of system you get at Sam’s Club or Best Buy.
