Who we are
Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) advances the institutional priorities of NAU with corporations, foundations, and organizations whose mission, goals, and interests align with those of the university. We build and support mutually beneficial relationships and secure philanthropic investment.
CFR collaborates with colleagues university-wide to identify exemplary programs and initiatives that advance NAU’s priorities and reputation, and are likely to have strong appeal to corporate partners and private foundations. We manage a portfolio of corporations and foundations with the capacity to make a strategic and/or broad investment in Northern Arizona University. We offer broad range of services, including:
- managing relationships and coordinating proposals to maximize support from corporations and foundations;
- overseeing proposal development and submission to major corporations and foundations;
- acting as the university’s point of contact for corporations and foundations to support a broad-base of research, education, scholarship/fellowship, and capital opportunities;
- supporting faculty and staff in project and concept development and solicitation to increase the likelihood of proposals being funded.
