Welcome to the Center for Inclusive Excellence and Access

At Northern Arizona University, we recognize that to be an inclusive campus, we must acknowledge the vast diversity represented at NAU, while providing opportunities to learn from each other and build on our strengths to achieve shared results. We live in a time when higher education is changing. The demographics of our students, faculty, and staff; the dynamic role of technology in our lives; the needs of the workforce of the future and linkages to education; and the imperative to create an inclusive community that promotes civil discourse, academic freedom, and critical inquiry, enriched by the backgrounds and lived experiences of its members.

As we center the delivery equitable postsecondary education for our current and future students, the Center for Inclusive Excellence and Access provides leadership and accountability in enhancing and fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive community where students and employees can learn and grow in an ever-changing global society. In alignment with the priorities of NAU 2025 – Elevating Excellence, the Center for Inclusive Excellence and Access is a resource that supports NAU’s mission.
