This year\u2019s virtual\u00a0workshop\u00a0will be held on July 27th and 28th, and prepares participants for entry into the academic job market through sessions on finding their institutional fit, developing research, teaching, and diversity statements, honing interview and negotiation skills, time management, and planning their first year as\u00a0faculty.<\/span><span style=\"color: #201f1e;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;\"><span style=\"color: #201f1e;\">The\u00a0workshop\u00a0was created to serve members of groups whose representation in\u00a0faculty\u00a0positions is smaller than their representation in the U.S. population. This includes women, racial and ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities, first-generation students, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;\"><span style=\"color: #201f1e;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #201f1e;\">Please circulate the <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/211\/FFW-2022-Flyer-A4-Document.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">attached flyer<\/a> with the\u00a0workshop\u00a0information.\u00a0<b>Interested Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars in STEM fields, the social sciences, humanities, and health sciences should apply by June 20,\u00a02022<\/b>.
