Group fitness policies
- Patrons must have purchased a membership or visit pass to utilize group exercise classes.
- Programs may be strenuous; it is recommended that participants consult a physician to determine fitness level before beginning any Group Exercise program.
- Participants are required to wear appropriate athletic attire. Jeans, cargo shorts, khakis, and other street clothing are prohibited. These policies must be followed at all indoor and outdoor Campus Recreation facilities.
- Non-marking, closed toed, athletic shoes are required except in specific group exercise classes.
- Participation is first-come, first-served. Instructors reserve the right to determine class maximums based on equipment and facility space.
- Semester class schedules are subject to change or cancellation.
- It is recommended for safety reasons that participants attend entire class for appropriate warm-up and cool down. Participants will not be admitted into classes 5-minutes after the scheduled start time.
- Personal items should be placed in cubbies or lockers prior to participation. If there are no lockers available, personal items may be placed at the back of the studio, along the wall. Please do not place personal items along the mirrors.
- Water in a closed container is the only beverage permitted in group exercise classes.
- Equipment utilized during class must remain in the corresponding room/closet; return equipment to designated storage location at the conclusion of class.
- The instructor reserves the right to ask a participant to leave if these policies are not followed.
