Indigenous and other interested students can live together while exploring and expressing traditional and <\/span>contemporary aspects of Indigenous intellectual, social, and cultural life. The <\/span>Indigenous Peoples Living-Learning Community is open to all academic levels and includes the following:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n- social connections with others who identify as and\/or are interested in learning more about Indigenous Peoples<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- network of Indigenous faculty, Tribal College Faculty Exchange participants, staff, alumni, and peer support providing personal and professional development\u202fand mentorship<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- d<\/span>ynamic programming in the living environment such as:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\n
\n- cultural dinners<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- guest speakers on history, culture, politics, and current experiences of Indigenous populations<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- visual and performing arts, music, and dances\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- field trips\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- leadership development\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- academic support and study groups<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- career path and graduate school exploration\/preparation<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
