Students living on campus are encouraged to obtain renters insurance and are actually one of the largest groups using this type of insurance.<\/p>\n
Students can purchase a policy while living on campus and should confirm with their insurance agent what is covered. If the student is a dependent under a parent’s policy, coverage may not extend to on‑campus housing, so parents should review their policy or consult their agent for details.<\/span><\/p>\n
