Introducing our new Health and Recreation Access Fee<\/h3>\n

This new Health and Recreation Access fee will give you access to all Campus Health Services (including Campus Recreation, Medical, and Counseling Services).\u00a0 This fee is available to Flagstaff Mountain Students who are not enrolled in Summer, 2NAU students, and non-Flagstaff Mountain Students. By paying $206, students will have access to all these services for the entire Summer.
\nFlagstaff Mountain Students who are enrolled in the summer get access to these services without having to pay an extra fee due to paying the Health and Wellness Tuition fee. Regardless of the summer session a student is enrolled in, they will get access to services for the entire summer.<\/p>\n

The access fee covers access to Campus Health and Campus Recreation Services. The fee DOES NOT cover: CHS Service Costs – When you visit a healthcare provider at CHS, there will be additional costs for specific services such as medical consultations, treatments, lab tests, or counseling. These costs are not included in the access fee and need to be paid separately.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Measles is making a resurgence in the United States. To date, more than 35 states have reported Measles cases, including Arizona. Measles is an extremely contagious, viral infection that is spread by coughing, sneezing, and breathing the same air as a person infected with this illness, according to the NIH one case of Measles can spread at rate 5-7 times faster than Covid and 9 times faster than influenza to susceptible individuals, with adults more likely to develop severe disease or complications; however, it can also be prevented through vaccinations. NAU has a policy<\/a><\/u> regarding measles, mumps and rubella immunity due to the severity of these diseases. <\/b>NAU is taking active counter measures to keep the campus Measles free, your attention to the information below is vital. <\/b><\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

People exposed to the measles virus may not develop signs and symptoms of the infection until 7 to 14 days after exposure. Symptoms include high fever, cough, runny nose, white spots in your mouth, red or pink watery eyes, or a blotchy facial rash that spreads downward. A person who is infected with Measles can infect other people starting 4 days before they develop a rash and remain contagious 4 days after the rash started.
