CAMINOS Mentors

Mentors program

To increase the servingness of NAU research mentors, a module that specifically focuses on mentoring in the NAU context, supplements Entering Mentoring, an established program available on the NAU campus for research trainee mentors.

Fifteen faculty and staff research mentors are able to participate in this new module annually and receive support towards their continued professional development. The new module and facilitated session are designed to be specific to the NAU community. The supplemental two-hour module will focus on NAU STEM student experiences by utilizing disaggregated data, student stories and local community data to increase relevance.

CAMINOS Mentors is being held in spring 2025, 2026, and 2027.
