Check the position query page first in PeopleSoft. If there is a filled position number with the same funding, reports to and type of employment (ie: part-time temp\/faculty, student, work study, or graduate assistant) that position can be used for many employees. If there is a vacant position that can be reused with a funding and reports to change as necessary. Please note that for student wage, work study and graduate assistant positions the job code is selected in the ePar, and employees doing different work with differing job codes can be on the same position number as long as the funding and reports to are the same.
