Mission:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The NAU Comparative and Applied Endocrinology Laboratory (Buck Lab) provides high throughput and precision assay services for extraction and quantification of a wide range of hormones and other analytes. We provide these services as well as on-site training to university, government, health and private sector entities.<\/p>\n

  3. Process & extract thyroid hormones from various sample types (plasma, fecal, tissue homogenate, baleen, hair, horn, feather, bone, etc.)<\/li>\n
  4. Vitellogenin (threespine and ninespine stickleback head & tail) extraction<\/li>\n
  5. Spiggin (threespine stickleback kidney) extraction<\/li>\n
  6. DNA extraction<\/li>\n
  7. Steroid hormone EIAs (various hormones)<\/li>\n
  8. Coated-tube RIA (various assay types available)<\/li>\n
  9. Double-antibody RIA (various assay types available)<\/li>\n
  10. Vitellogenin Assay<\/li>\n
