You can review <a href=\"https:\/\/nau0.sharepoint.com\/:x:\/s\/AuditoriaTeam\/IQB9lvP7b82gSKD0Z4I106CYAZuVCjG1g6zMPEBvj590QgA?e=ZtJ9np\">current bookings<\/a> with Auditoria, but please be warned that it is not live-updated.<\/p>\n<h5>Booking Recital Dates &amp; Times<\/h5>\n<p>The Kitt School of Music Administration (<a href=\"mailto:Music@nau.edu\">Music@nau.edu<\/a>) works with faculty and students to assign recital dates and times. Make sure that you coordinate with your other performers regarding recital date and dress rehearsal.<\/p>\n<h5>Typical Degree Recital Structure<\/h5>\n<h6>Junior Recitals<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>30-minute recital length for each performer; up to 70 minutes total recital time, including any intermission.<\/li>\n<li>Junior recitals are generally paired with another Junior Recital sharing the same performance block.<\/li>\n<li>Students receive up to 60 minutes of dress rehearsal time in Kitt Recital Hall, pending availability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Senior &amp; Graduate Performance Recitals<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to 70 minutes total recital time, including any intermission.<\/li>\n<li>Students receive up to 120 minutes of dress rehearsal time in Kitt Recital Hall, pending availability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Graduate Conducting or Lecture-Recital Students<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Additional rehearsal and performance scheduling considerations may be necessary (such as extra rehearsal time, instrumentation, or equipment).<\/li>\n<li>Students should consult with their professor early in the planning process to discuss scheduling needs and venue availability.\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure your professor communicates with Auditoria once this information is determined.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Timing and pairing exceptions may be granted for special circumstances and Percussion studio students.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<!-- shortcode-accordion -->\n<div class=\"shortcode-accordion shortcode-accordion--closed\" style=\"position: relative;\" >\n        <a class=\"shortcode-accordion__trigger\" data-header=\"Step 3: Plan Your Recital_0\" href=\"#\">\n      <div class=\"shortcode-accordion__header\">\n          <h4>Step 3: Plan Your Recital <span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Accordion Closed<\/span><\/h4>\n          <span class=\"shortcode-accordion__header__arrow\"><\/span>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/a>\n    <div class=\"shortcode-accordion__body\">\n        <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC \"-\/\/W3C\/\/DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional\/\/EN\" \"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/REC-html40\/loose.dtd\">\n<html><body>\n<p>Most student recitals fall into one of two categories.<\/p>\n<h5>Standard Recitals<\/h5>\n<p>A standard recital generally includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grand piano<\/li>\n<li>Chair and\/or Music stand&nbsp;(optional)<\/li>\n<li>Small pedestal or stool for flowers, water, or mutes (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Standard recital lighting<\/li>\n<li>Archival-quality audio recording<\/li>\n<li>Basic recital livestream with Video on Demand (VOD)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Standard recitals are intended for solo or accompanied performances with minimal technical requirements.<\/p>\n<h5>Non-Standard Recitals<\/h5>\n<p>Additional planning may be required for recitals involving:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Additional instruments (i.e. harpsichord)<\/li>\n<li>Unique staging requirements (i.e. duo piano or small ensembles)<\/li>\n<li>Microphones, Amplification,&nbsp;Onstage monitors,&nbsp;and\/or Audio playback<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced recording requests<\/li>\n<li>Specialty lighting or Projections<\/li>\n<li>Staging changes*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students are responsible for communicating non-standard recital technical needs well in advance of their recital. Non-standard requests may require additional approval from both Auditoria and the Kitt School of Music and may be subject to additional fees.&nbsp;Not all requests can be accommodated, especially those submitted at the last minute. If your non-standard request has been approved, we may request additional details from you via a <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/auditoria\/reservations\/forms-and-resources\/?preview_id=32&amp;preview_nonce=947a37969e&amp;_thumbnail_id=137&amp;preview=true\">Student Recital Tech Form,<\/a>&nbsp;which includes attaching a stage plot. If you need help communicating your recital setup, use our <strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/canva.link\/7r1h61mih6ma6bp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kitt Recital Hall Stage Layout Template<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Work with your Professor regarding Programs, Program Notes, and recital posters.<\/p>\n<h5>Livestream<\/h5>\n<p>Most degree recitals are livestreamed through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@NAU-Virtual-Stage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Auditoria&rsquo;s YouTube channel<\/a>. Performance and streaming rights remain the responsibility of the performer. If a recital should not be livestreamed, Auditoria must be notified well in advance of the performance date so appropriate arrangements can be made. Auditoria will make best efforts to accommodate rehearsal requests whenever possible; however, during busy recital periods, not all student, accompanist, and studio professor schedules can be accommodated.<\/div>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>Expectations<\/h5>\n<p>Students and faculty are expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrive on time.<\/li>\n<li>Use scheduled rehearsal time efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Follow all <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/auditoria\/guest-information\/policies\/\">venue policies<\/a> and house etiquette.<\/li>\n<li>Protect venue equipment and furnishings.<\/li>\n<li>Follow all piano handling procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Leave the venue in the same or better condition than it was found.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Because multiple rehearsals and performances often occur in a single day, maintaining the schedule is important for both dress rehearsals and recital performances.<\/p>\n\n\n    <\/body><\/html>\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n        <!-- shortcode-accordion -->\n<div class=\"shortcode-accordion shortcode-accordion--closed\" style=\"position: relative;\" >\n        <a class=\"shortcode-accordion__trigger\" data-header=\"Day of Recital_2\" href=\"#\">\n      <div class=\"shortcode-accordion__header\">\n          <h4>Day of Recital <span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Accordion Closed<\/span><\/h4>\n          <span class=\"shortcode-accordion__header__arrow\"><\/span>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/a>\n    <div class=\"shortcode-accordion__body\">\n        <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC \"-\/\/W3C\/\/DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional\/\/EN\" \"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/REC-html40\/loose.dtd\">\n<html><body>\n\n<div>\n<p>Student degree recitals operate on a carefully coordinated schedule.
