Through rapid prototyping with 3D printing, they will iteratively<br \/>\ndevelop and test structural components, ensuring the robot&#8217;s resilience and adaptability. Furthermore, the student will gain practical experience in PCB<br \/>\ndesign, crucial for integrating the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with the artificial muscle actuators, a critical step in developing robust and reliable robotic<br \/>\nsystems for future NASA missions. In the project&#8217;s second phase, the student will focus on developing and implementing AI algorithms for autonomous<br \/>\noperation, directly contributing to NASA&#8217;s goal of enhancing robotic autonomy for extended exploratory missions.
