Walk-in hours 12:00 – 5:00 p.m., Wednesdays – Fridays.<\/p>\n
We are closed on all University holidays<\/a>. Please check the current exhibition dates before your visit, as we are closed between exhibitions.<\/p>\n
We do encourage you to schedule class visits or groups of ten (10) or more.<\/p>\n
Contact us via email<\/a> to schedule your class or large group visit. Educators may schedule class visits Mondays – Fridays with two weeks’ advance notice.<\/h5>\n

The Northern Arizona University Art Museum is located at the Historic North Quad, on Northern Arizona University’s Flagstaff Campus, inside the front doors of the historic Old Main building (#10)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Please help us to protect the artwork we have on display, for future generations to enjoy, by respecting these guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n
Food, and beverages (including water) must remain outside the gallery or may be left at the front reception desk.<\/p>\n
No chewing gum.<\/p>\n
Please do not touch artwork, pedestals, or walls.<\/p>\n
Backpacks, portfolios, briefcases, large purses, and similar items must be left with the gallery attendant or museum staff upon entering the museum. You may also leave your coat or jacket if you like.<\/p>\n
Use only pencils for note-taking and sketching in the galleries. Pens and other indelible marking instruments can be detrimental to artworks.<\/p>\n
Please check with museum staff regarding photography in the museum. Generally, photography is not allowed, but certain exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. Flash photography is detrimental to many types of artworks, and so is not permitted.<\/p>\n
Please be considerate of others, turn cell phones off or down while in the museum, and step outside the museum galleries to have telephone conversations.<\/p>\n
Please leave pets in a safe location outside of the building.<\/p>\n
Selfie sticks are prohibited.<\/p>\n
As a precaution, artwork should be viewed from a minimum of 3.5 feet away. When backing up to view artwork from a greater distance, be aware of your surroundings to avoid backing into another artwork.<\/p>\n
