-This Golf Tournament serves to support the NAU Student Chapter of ASCE. Lunch will be included and a post-game dinner will follow with prizes awarded to top teams.<\/p>\n
-Representatives from local Flagstaff engineering firms and ASCE’s Phoenix Younger Member Forum will be providing advice on resumes. This will include information on what employers look for in professional resumes, and may help with student-professional networking. Students are required to RSVP with Gina Boschetto, our Career Development Coordinator.<\/p>\n
-Representatives from Coconino County’s Public Works Department will present on the key aspects of leadership and innovation that benefit practicing engineers in both the private and public sector. Student members are encouraged to ask questions in order to gain further insight on the topic of the presentation and establish networks for potential job opportunities.<\/p>\n
-This meeting will showcase a presentation conducted by a representative of a local engineering firm. Student members will be enabled to ask questions and discuss with the professionals about items pertaining to their specific field of engineering.<\/p>\n
-NAU ASCE will compete with 18 other schools in various competitions including; steel bridge, concrete canoe, geotech, environmental competition, surveying, soccer, tug of war and many more. An estimated 60 NAU students will attend to compete in technical events with other schools in the Pacific Southwest region.
