Specifically, she is interested in understanding how native and invasive foundation plant species respond to climate change, how the responses of these species affect their ecological communities, and how can this knowledge be applied towards species conservation and restoration projects. Nashelly is also interested in how plant-animal interactions change over ecological gradients and in wildlife population genetics.
