In order to put this on we receive donations from the Flagstaff and NAU community. We thank those who have helped us to keep this day important to high school students.
- ES- day helps educate 100-200 High School students in a fun and active way
- We offer scholarships to schools that need the assistance
The Ambassadors encourage all high schools and students to participate! Its always fun to compete, and work together with your classmates to create science and engineering masterpieces, and win awesome prizes.
We invite a new guest speaker each ES day that is usually a important individual on NAU’s campus that is influential to the Flagstaff and student community involved with STEM fields.
Some activities done during the ES day are:
- penny boat
- construct a roller coaster
- measuring heart rate and blood pressure
- water rockets
