Applicant Communications and Statuses
Our Talent Acquisition Management system provides us with the ability to communicate with applicants through PeopleSoft and the ability to record the reasons for an applicants rejection or withdrawal from a job search.
Human Resources strongly encourages the use of the PeopleSoft system to communicate with applicants throughout a search. We have provided several email templates for departments to use when communicating with applicants. With just a few clicks you can send email to multiple applicants at once!
As of January 1, 2016, departments are required to record the reasons for rejection or withdrawal for every applicant who applies for a job at NAU. This PeopleSoft functionality makes it easy to both record the applicants statuses and communicate with the applicants in one step.
To help you with navigating through this functionality, we have created an Applicant Communication & Status User’s Guide, which contains screen shots and step-by-step instructions for these processes. There are active links throughout the document to help make navigating through the guide a little easier.
