Ad style guide
Northern Arizona University has a high standard regarding its image. The official logo and the correct Affirmative Action/EEOC statements are required for advertisements.
The university’s official logo is designed to function as a part of a flexible and cohesive visual system. This logo must appear on all university publications distributed to the public. The logo must be at least 5/16″ tall on printed materials.
This logo may not be altered in any way, and it may not be used with additional borders, ornamentation, or overprinting, nor should other logos incorporate elements of the official logo. Organizations not affiliated with the university must request written permission from University Marketing to use the logo in printed or electronic media.
Organizations that wish to market commercial items with the logo or other university marks should contact the university’s trademark and licensing coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or 928-523-5404.
The words “Northern Arizona University” may never be separated from the logo, except by written permission from University Marketing.

Northern Arizona University publications distributed to an off-campus audience must include an affirmative action/equal opportunity statement. The statement varies depending on the type of publication.
For any publication that is distributed to the general population and does not outline any specific university policies and procedures, the statement should read:

For any publication that involves soliciting applications for employment, training, or development, the statement should read:
